Leading At Any Level (LAAL) Leadership Session
Join us for the Leading At Any Level (LAAL) session. The Leadership Development for Pennsylvania School Librarians experience is an initiative of the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association. This foundational leadership workshop, Leading At Any Level, is available to ALL PSLA active and associate members, will be at no cost to the attendees. This year, members may also invite an administrator, teacher colleague or partnering public librarian to the training. Leading At Any Level, created and presented by lead instructor David Bendekovic of the B. A. David Company, is a 6 hour workshop (with outside readings) designed to develop leaders at every level: school librarians, administrators, paraprofessionals, educators of school librarians, and students in school library programs. The workshop will focus on taking ownership of thinking, feeling, and actions for personal and career development. Leading At Any Level is the foundational leadership workshop that provides participants with an opportunity to take ownership of their thinking, feeling and actions for personal and career development. The School Librarians' Leadership Academy and Leadership Institute for School Librarians build upon the Leading At Any Level session. This project is made possible in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor.
